About the department
The chronic Pain Clinic is a continuously developing service for the region with a focus on the assessment, care planning and management of people experiencing chronic pain. Team members include a medical specialist, clinical psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, dietitian, allied health assistant, enrolled nurse and Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
About the role
To perform this role you will have broad based clinical experience in the area of assessment and management of people experiencing complex health issues and chronic pain as well as a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of chronic pain service delivery across the health sector. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and a well developed understanding of an evidence based approach to person-centred care, will be well suited to the role.
