An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Senior Clinician Physiotherapists to join our Emergency Department on a casual basis.


The Department of Emergency Medicine is a busy tertiary department with an annual attendance of 90,000 patients and with a broad spectrum of emergency presentations. 


We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists to work in a casual capacity as part of a 7 day roster; available shifts are predominately weekends and Mondays working in our Fast track area.


To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:


-   Seven years’ experience as a physiotherapist


-   Significant experience in the management of acute musculoskeletal / orthopaedic conditions


-   A good understanding of the community resources available to facilitate discharge


-   Specific Professional Development or Training and Education directly related to the provision of Primary Contact Physiotherapy within an Emergency Department


-   This must include advanced skills in assessment and early intervention of;    



  • Soft tissue injuries      

  • Fractures      

  • Spinal and peripheral joint injuries
