About the facility

The successful applicant will work within the Primary Care team for South and East Areas of Barwon Health.

This role will support physiotherapy services primarily at the Newcomb Community Health Centre and may include service provision to other Primary Care teams across Barwon Health.

The Primary Care teams incorporate multidisciplinary health professionals from allied health and nursing backgrounds. These dynamic and high performing teams provide services ranging from early intervention through to the support of consumers with chronic and complex needs.

About the role

As the Physiotherapist (Grade 2) you will provide a comprehensive, integrated and high-quality physiotherapy service applying evidence-informed, client-centred care within a multi-disciplinary community setting.

You will provide teaching, supervision, support and development of less experienced staff and undergraduate students.

You will also manage designated portfolios and quality improvement projects within the expectations of the Barwon health Strategic Plan, Physiotherapy Business Plan and the Community Health, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Business Plan.
