ABOUT THE ROLE:
Summary of the role:
The Physiotherapy department at WMH offers a safe, enjoyable and supportive environment that promotes a culture of learning and development, with various opportunities for career progression. The friendly WMH physiotherapy team comprises of approximately 30 dedicated clinicians across Grade 1-3 classifications and is supported by a capable Allied Health Assistant workforce. The team currently provide client-centred, services within the emergency department, ICU, acute, orthopaedic, subacute, HITH, and outpatient physiotherapy services. This position/s will largely assist in inpatient wards and/or ED depending on experience and interest.
Supervision practices are well established and embedded as part of our culture, along with professional development. Physiotherapy staff are offered and contribute to in-house learning programs, rotations and opportunities. A supportive, dedicated Allied Health Education team leads a number of interprofessional in-house initiatives.
