This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapist to join the Acute and Complex Care team at Monash Health based at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. A Day in the Life:
Monash Health Physiotherapy is a dynamic service with dedicated, highly skilled physiotherapists. As a member of the Monash Physiotherapy Team, we are committed to working with you to become your professional best. We offer clinical education sessions, training on the job and career progression to enable you to further develop your clinical and leadership skills.
This role is responsible for the provision of physiotherapy clinical services to patients in the General Medicine and Special Medicine Programs (including Respiratory Medicine, Renal, Haematology/Oncology, Palliative Care) alongside Emergency Department (secondary contact services) at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. This role provides valuable clinical leadership across physiotherapy, allied health and the multidisciplinary care team. This role supervises Grade 1 Physiotherapists, AHAs and undergraduate students and helps drive service improvement and research. This role is well supported by a large, dynamic and progressive team which includes Grade 4 Acute and Complex Care Stream Leader, Grade 3 Senior Clinicians, Grade 2 colleagues as well as the site Physiotherapy Manager.
