About the role

Positions have arisen across Eastern Health Physiotherapy offering comprehensive clinical experience as part of a large, vibrant physiotherapy department with a commitment to providing high-quality, innovative health care that delivers best-practice and patient-centred outcomes.

As part of Eastern Health Physiotherapy's strong team focus, involvement in our supervisory, quality and professional development programs is actively encouraged including supported opportunities for senior grade 1 staff on our governance committees, introduction to quality improvement methodology and potential contribution to supported supervision of students in our La Trobe University Eastern Health Physiotherapy Clinical School.

If in your graduate year, this role will be an active participant of the Eastern Health Allied Health Transition to Practice Graduate program over the 3-year period

Our Grade 1 rotation program offers:

• 27 diverse 4 monthly rotations across 6 locations, including ED, ICU, acute, sub-acute, outpatient, ambulatory & community programs


• Friendly, supportive & dynamic teams


• Regular supervision, co-treatments with seniors & professional development opportunities provided

About you

To be successful in the role you will:

• have recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy


• have registration as appropriate to requirements of AHPRA


• be eligible for practising membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association


• demonstrate knowledge of clinical theory and practice relevant to hospital based care


• demonstrate a clear understanding of client-centred care & goal setting with clients across the continuum


• be a strong communicator – both oral and written
