About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, driven GEM/rehabilitation physiotherapist with a proven commitment to achieving optimal outcomes for their patients & their team. You must have experience working with a variety of sub-acute presentations, as well as sound general rehabilitation skills & knowledge. This will allow you to be able to work seamlessly within our large sub-acute physiotherapy team, who apply a team-based approach to caseload management.
This role is required to supervise grade 1 rotating physiotherapists, AHAs and physiotherapy students. Experience in delivering effective supervision & facilitating optimal learning experiences for all is desirable. You will need to be an enthusiastic team player who is highly resourceful, agile and innovative. Having excellent prioritisation, time management and communication skills and with a commitment to the ongoing growth, development of yourself and the service.
This role will be supported by direct and reflective supervision with grade 3 and Grade 4 Physiotherapists.
Non clinical opportunities include potential portfolios & work within the relevant Eastern Health Physiotherapy Clinical Leadership Group, Physiotherapy Grade 1 Coordination group &/or Physiotherapy Student Coordinators group. Eastern Health Allied Health also proudly promotes research activity within our clinicians - we have an active Allied Health Clinical Research Unit, an annual Allied Health Research forum and annual "Stepping Into Research" program which mentors allied health clinicians through a systematic review from question formation through to publication & presentation, as well as opportunities to participate in clinical research trials within your work area.
