About the Role
You will be an innovative and client-focused Grade 2 Physiotherapist, who want to make a difference to the experience and outcomes of Stroke Survivors. You will work closely with a high quality, evidence-based group of allied health, nursing and medical professionals providing stroke rehabilitation in the ambulatory setting. Clients receive hospital type services but in their own home (bed substitution model).
In this role you will demonstrate advanced skills in the assessment and management of stroke rehabilitation, providing therapy both centre based and in client's homes.
You will undertake effective and timely assessments and provide support to the interdisciplinary allied health/nursing team in achieving evidence based stroke rehabilitation based on client goals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to thrive in this role, with opportunities to also supervise junior staff and students.
You will be supported with a wide range of professional growth and development opportunities including access to regular clinical supervision with a Grade 3 Physiotherapist. Participation in research and quality improvement activities will be supported within the service and profession.
