As the Aged Care Grade 4 Physiotherapist you will work primarily on site at The Mornington Centre (TMC). You will provide expert clinical and operational oversight to the Aged Care Physiotherapy team based at TMC to ensure safe, personal, effective and connected care is provided to our patients.

Full time preferred but applications for a minimum of 4 days per week welcome.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert clinical care to a varied caseload of aged and complex patients at The Mornington Centre.
• Demonstrate extensive specialised knowledge and act as an expert clinical resource for Aged Care Physiotherapy within Peninsula Health, providing support and guidance to Physiotherapists and other professions as required.
• Identify opportunities for the generation of new knowledge and facilitate and coordinate research and quality initiatives, both locally at The Mornington Centre and more broadly across the Aged Care Physiotherapy stream.
• Support the Head of Physiotherapy in setting the strategic direction for the Physiotherapy Department and in achieving operational and quality requirements.
• Deputise for the Head of Physiotherapy as required.
•Oversee the operational and clinical Physiotherapy services at The Mornington centre.

Essential Criteria
• Registration with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Extensive specialised knowledge, skills and experience in Aged Care Physiotherapy
• Proven ability to work and demonstrate leadership within an interdisciplinary team
• Relevant Post-graduate qualifications or working towards the same.
• Previous involvement in significant quality and/or research projects.
• Proven experience in operational management, including an awareness of budgets, human resources and occupational health and safety processes.
• Extensive experience in the provision of clinical education to undergraduate Physiotherapy students
