About the Role

Grampians Health – Stawell is inviting applications for a full time or part time podiatrist.

The podiatrist would be supported by Podiatry Assistants and a full time Grade 2 Podiatrist to provide quality and timely service to the community.

The Podiatrist will see a mixed caseload of clients with rotations including

  • Inpatient general medicine and post-operative care
  • Inpatient subacute rehabilitation and transition care program
  • Acute and community outpatients – clinic based
  • Sporting injury management
  • Aged care
  • Outreach programs – clinic based
  • High risk foot clinic exposure

The role will be based at the Stawell Campus, with opportunities for supervision, networking, and collaboration with the broader Podiatry department across other campuses of Grampians Heath. There is also the opportunity to gain further specialised experience at these sites.

Grade 2 candidates will be required to undertake supervision of Grade 1 Podiatrists, Podiatry assistants, and students. Grade 2 candidates will also be required to participate in quality improvement projects with in Podiatry and the broader Multi-disciplinary team.
