The Economic Policy and State Productivity Group is responsible for providing high quality policy analysis and advice to the Premier and portfolio Ministers in the areas of: economic development; regional and local government outcomes, international engagement, infrastructure, planning, major transactions, energy, resources and land policy.
The Economic Strategy Branch advises the Premier and Cabinet on current and future economic challenges and opportunities that affect Victorian's prosperity. We do this by understanding the whole of the Victorian economy.
The Economic Strategy Branch is looking to recruit a talented and dynamic Policy Adviser for DPC's Implementation Office to support the coordination, implementation and monitoring of priority reviews across government.
The role requires strong conceptual, quantitative and analytical skills, as well as an ability to provide advice in a time-pressured environment.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with other DPC branches and other Government departments to deliver the Victorian Government's objectives with respect to the implementation of priority reviews.
The Policy Officer will play a key role in providing high quality advice, analysis, and coordination support to DPC senior leadership and the Premier.
