Applications are invited from Registered Nurses interested in becoming a Midwife by undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Midwifery, through Federation University Australia, Churchill Campus and completing the clinical component of the course at the West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul.
The Midwifery unit of the West Gippsland Healthcare Group, is a family centered contemporary facility, dedicated to serving the needs of the community whilst always striving for excellence.
The successful applicant/s will gain a broad knowledge base and experience across all areas of Midwifery under the expert guidance of our Midwifery Clinical Educators and experienced Midwives.
This is a paid employment model, with course costs at the candidate’s expense – proof of acceptance at the University must be provided.
Requirements
IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare/aged care sector are required to be fully (3 doses) vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
