About the opportunity
The Principal Adviser, Planning and Environment, will work with the Director and Senior Planning and Environment Managers in the Land Planning and Environment (LPE) team to perform planning and environment activities for Suburban Rail Loop.
Your role will be responsible for contributing and providing sound advice on complex issues in relation to planning pathways, approval strategies, and environmental management to enable SRLA to meet its environmental, business, and statutory objectives. This role requires someone to take a proactive approach and demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving ability.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Planning and Environment, you will also need to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, identify and manage project risks, and help develop the team's capabilities to support delivery of the Suburban Rail Loop.
