About the Division
The Public Health and Community Care Division is an exciting new service cluster that combines Monash Health Community, SEPHU (Southeast Public Health Unit), Dental Services and Infectious Diseases services.
The de-centralization of public health functions to the local public health units, necessitated by COVID, provides an opportunity for local responsiveness, embedding of core prevention and population health initiatives that is guided by local demographic priorities, and supported by health services.
This new Division brings the critical elements for this response together.
To optimize our ability to respond to the above challenges, strong clinical and strategic leadership is needed in the existing Monash Community services, to extend our reach.
