Digital Innovation (DI) is a newly created department servicing The Women’s and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, for the management and maintenance of Digital Assets encompassing networks, storage, communications and applications, enabling the delivery of safe, quality care.

DI delivers on new digital advancements, develops efficiencies and explores opportunities around collaboration and consolidation of digital platforms.

Strategically, DI enables:

  • Specialist Virtual Care
  • Our Health Services becoming mature Digital Health Services
  • New Arden Precinct Build and Parkville Redevelopment
  • Better Research opportunities across multi-sited Biomedical Precincts

The structure currently has several key positional vacancies to be recruited, in order that DI can deliver on its service obligations

Your contribution

A day in this role will see you:

  • Support the EPMO team members in the delivery of portfolio projects.
  • Coordinate and conduct analysis / audits to facilitate the implementation of new technology solutions as part of organisation wide innovation projects.
  • Participate in larger projects by managing components or sub-tasks of the overall project program as directed by the Director of DC&I (or delegate Program Manager / Project Manager).
  • Be responsible for the delivery of project works packages as assigned.

About you

What you will bring to this role:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide coordination and administration project support to a team in delivering IMT Projects.
  • Ability to coordinate the delivery of project work tasks within team environments is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, logical, unambiguous, effective and cordial manner.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills with customers, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.
