We have an exciting role as a Cyber Security Project Co-ordinator to work in the Digital, Strategy and Transformation branch within DPC. 

The Digital, Strategy & Transformation branch sits within the Governance, Policy and Coordination group, and its role is to lead the development of the Victorian government's digital strategy, cyber strategy and enable digital transformation. 

In this role you will primarily be responsible for coordinating/ supporting two projects.

The first project is the Victorian Government's response to risks presented by legacy Windows Server operating systems where you will work with risk specialists and industry partners to ensure advice from experts is communicated across the sector, providing Department of Premier and Cabinet with centralised oversight of the issue and ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the risk.

For the second project, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the project manager in the trial and implementation of DMARC (email authentication protocol) to uplift protection of the domain in line with industry standards and other jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to support production of detailed project plans, strong planning and organisational skills, demonstrated ability to write clearly and succintly, excellent written communications and have well developed interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

This role will require the successful candidate to obtain Negative Vetting 1 clearance within 12 months of commencement and maintain during the course of employment. Note for this reason only Australian citizens are eligible to apply.
