About the Team

To deliver transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network.

About the Opportunity

The Project Manager Traffic Management Reform (TMR) sits within the Planned Disruptions/Network Service Changes (NSC) Branch and is responsible for the end-to-end management of a number of initiatives across multiple streams relating to traffic management reform and Smarter Roads program . This role will be accountable for managing the schedule of initiatives and the integration of those activities, as well as determining scope, budget and funding in addition to playing an active role in relevant risk management strategies and stakeholder engagement activities.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Translate strategies into programs or projects that enables achievement of outcomes e.g. success measures, roles and responsibilities, progress monitoring) required to manage risks and maximise probability of success.
  • Consider wider business context within business unit when considering options to resolve issues. Identifies recurring problems and prevents future recurrence by integrating solutions into work process.
  • Consistently adapt the content, style, message or tone of a presentation to suit the audience and plans how to tackle objections; applies own ideas by linking them to others' values, needs and goals.
  • Identify and manage a range of complex and often competing needs; facilitates innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate; offers suggestions and ideas, encourages others to do the same; leverage on existing continuous improvement systems and procedures to improve business outcomes
