ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Portfolio Lead, the Project Manager will coordinate the risk, quality, and progress of projects by ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.

The Project Manager works under broad direction and is accountable for exercising a considerable degree of independence and performs a leadership role. The Project Manager is accountable for planning, co-ordinating and delivering detailed, complex, technical or sensitive projects that impact on strategic or operational outcomes. They will manage key stakeholder relationships, resolve issues and deliver quality outcomes

 ABOUT YOU                

Our ideal candidate would be able to successfully demonstrate the following key skills:

• Manage a diverse set of resources to deliver IT programs; develop strategies and evaluate project and business outcomes
• Provide expert strategic and technical advice and deliver results with a significant degree of independence
• Provide authoritative and expert advice to ensure products are delivered in line with contract requirements and project management methodologies
• Develop and lead the implementation of strategies and devise solutions to address complex IT project management risks
• Oversee the coordination of a series of interrelated IT projects and activities
• Provide leadership and direction and ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency, and integration

QUALIFICATIONS        

• Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded, ITIL or Microsoft Certifications
• Project Management certification (preferred), e.g. PMP, Prince2
