POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Project Officer, Sustainability you will provide project support across the Sustainability Unit's workstreams to achieve the Authority's commitment to improving the environmental performance of health infrastructure.

The Project Officer, Sustainability will manage and maintain the integrity of the environmental data management system. You will support the preparation of sustainability resources (including case studies, webinars, quarterly updates, guidelines, and website content) and provide general administration support for the Sustainability Unit.

  • Analyse environmental data
  • Collate data for annual reporting
  • Support the NABERS ratings of hospitals
  • Maintaining contact lists and registers of environmental initiatives and solar arrays on public hospitals

What you will need to be successful

Demonstrated project experience working with large datasets and navigating data management systems. An understanding of sustainability matters within large infrastructure portfolios would be beneficial, but not essential. Most important is a desire to establish a career within sustainability.

  • Passionate about environmental sustainability
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with utility and carbon data (desirable)
  • Highly organised and able to work collaboratively
  • Proactive approach to achieving project deliverables

A qualification in environmental management, sustainability, science, engineering, or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
