About the role

Reporting to the Preventative Project Lead, the Project Officer is a member of a small team responsible for partnering with teams across EPA to deliver temporal projects across the state. You will contribute to the design, commissioning, management, and oversight of the delivery of projects aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.

This is an exciting role for a project officer that wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. You contribute to a positive organisational culture and ensure the highest standards of performance and integrity are achieved; and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to deliver organisational outcomes.

About you

With a strong background in project management, behavioural science, or a related disciple, you have a proven record in unpacking the behavioural element of complex problems and using theory of change to design outcomes-based interventions to drive positive change. You are experienced in stakeholder management, facilitation and can translate complex or large volumes of information into clear and succinct written or verbal communications. Known for your ability to inspire high performance and integrity, you are an effective team member and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you have a commitment to successful delivery and the ability to develop and sustain enduring relationships that enable collaboration.
