The Project Officer plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of water resource management in Victoria by contributing to long-term water resource planning and impact assessments for a diverse array of water-related projects. In this capacity, the role involves active participation in scenario modeling and analysis, which serves as the cornerstone for informing Sustainable Water Strategies.
Additionally, the Project Officer takes on the critical responsibility of conducting comprehensive, long-term assessments of Victoria's surface water resources, shedding light on the intricate dynamics of water allocation among various user groups and the environment. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2024. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
