Position Summary:

The Project Officer will provide administrative, coordination, reporting, and project management support to the Strategic Housing Policy Branch to achieve divisional goals. The position regularly liaises with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and operates with professionalism, initiative and collaboration.

The Strategic Housing Policy branch is responsible for strategic policy and reform for social housing and is also the department's primary interface with other state government departments for the housing portfolio. With a focus on improving the Victorian community's access to suitable and stable housing, the branch also supports the CEO to deliver on strategic priorities, and drive improvements in project delivery for Homes Victoria

  • Someone who is highly organised and has excellent administration and reporting / project management skills
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has the ability to develop respectful and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
