POSITION SUMMARY

  1. Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
  2. Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet, and agency submissions.
  3. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.

An exciting opportunity exists for 7 Project Officers on a Full-time basis in the Housing Development Branch 

The Housing Development Branch is responsible for delivering end-to-end project and construction management for housing development projects originated by Homes Victoria. The Housing Development Branch turns the organisation's strategic directions into successful project outcomes, bringing commercial professionalism to the delivery of major housing projects for Homes Victoria.

The Project Officers in the Housing Development Branch role will play a key role in providing support services to the project team who are focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. The role will contribute to a variety of complex capital projects at the development and delivery phases, the procurement of contracted services and products, and ongoing process improvement.

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

  1. relevant experience in a similar role, including attention to detail and accuracy, is essential.
  2. proficiency (intermediate to advanced) in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email management and internet are required. Microsoft Project and Visio would be well regarded.
