About the role
Eastern Health has an exciting temporary (6 month) position available for someone who is motivated to lead a program of improvement work to establish systems and processes to meet the requirements of legislative changes to the Health Service Act amendments, in particular, Open Disclosure and Duty of Candour.
The Project Officer Duty of Candour is responsible to the Director Clinical Governance, Quality and Safety for leadership in developing organisational capability to comply with the Duty of Candour and associated changes to the Safety and Quality bill 2021 and will work with. The Project officer, in partnership with the Medical Lead- Duty of Candour and Safety and Quality, Patient Safety Manager and the centre for Patient Experience, will develop and coordinate key project deliverables.
About you
The successful applicant will work closely with clinical leaders (medical, nursing, allied health, clinical support) throughout the program of work to deliver agreed outcomes within agreed timeframes.
