POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to support the Governance and Corporate Strategy unit (GCS unit) of Homes Victoria. This position will provide a high performing and organised individual with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge through undertaking effective Secretariat duties.

You will be a part of a small, dynamic team which develops and embeds critical corporate strategic documentation and frameworks such as, but not limited to, the Homes Victoria corporate plan and annual report, the Homes Victoria Social Procurement and Inclusion Framework, and the Public Tenant Employment Program. The GCS unit also holds a critical role in supporting key governance groups, such as the Board, Housing Inter-departmental Committee (IDC) and various Steering Committees, which this role is critical to supporting.

This role will report to the Principal Adviser, Governance and will be responsible for the administration of secretariat functions such as, but not limited to, documenting/maintaining Terms of Reference, meeting coordination and scheduling, formulating agendas and taking minutes. The role is also required to assist on key projects within the broader GCS unit.

You will have demonstrable experience in being proactive, planned and organised, and have excellent communication and writing skills.
