Suburban Rail Loop is a city and state-shaping project that will transform Victoria’s public transport system, connecting Melbourne’s suburbs and creating opportunities in great places. The 90-kilometre Suburban Rail Loop will link every major rail line from the Frankston line to the Werribee line, via the airport, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. The project will trigger investment and renewal in the neighbourhoods associated with new stations. It will be constructed in stages across several decades, with Stage One (Cheltenham to Box Hill) delivering twin 27 km tunnels. About the opportunity

The Property Development Adviser will work on and provide support to the Manager - Property Development Services on a wide range of proposed precinct developments incorporating hi-density residential, commercial, retail, and social uses. The role will initially focus on the front-end of the property development cycle including concept design work, value and cost management, project reviews and reporting, feasibility modelling and consultant management.

The Property Development Adviser will be actively engaged and contribute to the design development and commercial viability of developments. Works require a range of inputs from the early conceptual stages to the full “end to end” property cycle.

The successful candidate will be required to work independently and proactively engage with wide range of subject matter specialists to help achieve various project and precinct objectives. including establishing and maintaining project specific financial parameters. There will be exposures to working with Rail and Infrastructure engineers to integrate Over Station and Adjacent Station Developments and an understanding of structural and MEP principles would be beneficial.
