POSITION SUMMARY:

The Property Officer is responsible for assisting in the acquisition, development and coordination of property owned, controlled or managed by Homes Victoria or by third parties. The roles objective is to source and prepare permanent accommodation for households who are currently residing in privately owned leasehold properties which expire over the next 2 years.

  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, Victorian Government Land Transaction Policy, the role of the Valuer Generals Office and general property law.
  • Able to demonstrate skills in project management and administration in a property related field.
  • Good at researching, preparing and executing reports and briefings and/or technical specifications for property projects.
