About the role
Mental Health Inpatient Services provides best practice nursing care for consumers in a recovery oriented model through assessment and clinical planning, in an inpatient 24/7 setting. Collaboratively our service provision is supported by our Mental Health Community teams and the Prevention and Recovery Centre, providing excellence in care to the broader community in the South West region of Victoria.
The role of Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse works collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to undertake a range of assessments and contribute to the clinical planning of individual care for each consumer. You will support the development and maintaining of a high quality care environment and promote and participate in quality improvement activities and initiatives.
This position is eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to$20,000 per placement.
What you bring
As an experienced Enrolled Nurse you will have demonstrated experience and skills in delivering a broad range of psychiatric care and services to patients in a mental health environment, whether in an inpatient or community setting. Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.
