An exciting opportunity exists for a Psychologist to work with Student Support Services Outer East Area, specifically in the Maroondah and Knox Network of schools. Please note this position is based in the Outer East area. The successful applicant will be required to provide a range of supports to schools with the network. Flexibility, the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and the capability to work autonomously when required are key requirements for this position. Mandatory qualifications: Qualification in Psychology with full registration.

This position is based within the Student Support Services in the Outer East Team, North East Victoria Region.

Student Support Services (SSS) assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialised support at individual, group, school and network levels.

SSS comprise a broad range of professionals including psychologists, speech pathologists, and social workers. SSS staff work as part of an integrated health and wellbeing team within networks of schools, focusing on providing group based and individual support, workforce capacity building, and the provision of specialised services.


SSS staff do vital work in supporting students' health and wellbeing - particularly our most vulnerable students - and SSS are critical to building an excellent education system that reduces the impact of disadvantage.
