The Casey Area Mental Health Service is led by an innovative and supportive leadership team seeking to provide an innovative and recovery based model of mental health care that will continue to develop with our growing community in the South East growth corridor. Our team is based in both inpatient and community sites offering collaborative care to clients experiencing mental health difficulties within our area.  We provide service to the Monash Adult Mental Health Program with comprehensive treatment and support to individuals experiencing complex mental health problems.  We strive to deliver high quality recovery-focused client care as a multi discipline team. Our aim is to promote self-efficacy and independence and social inclusion with all the individuals we support.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Psychologist to join our Community mental Health team based at Pakenham. This role is a part time position 40 hours per fortnight (5 days per fortnight). Hours 0830- 5 pm across Monday to Friday.

About You

The Psychologist in the service works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide individualised programs of treatment, support and psychosocial rehabilitation to consumers. The psychologist is responsible for providing evidence - based, best practise psychological assessment and intervention to promote engagement, improved well-being and safety, and enhanced psychosocial functioning. Psycho-education and psychological interventions may be provided on an individual and/or group basis. Ongoing, regular psychology supervision, involvement in IRS continuing professional development events and other development opportunities form part of this exciting role. What we offer:
