About The Role

Do you want to play key role in developing insights to inform design, innovation and strategy related to psychology services at Monash Health?

We are seeking a Senior Psychologist with demonstrated experience in clinical research and quality activities to support the strategic direction of psychology services within Monash Health by identifying research opportunities and providing technical support to existing projects to improve outcomes for our clients.

About You

You are an experienced, energetic and determined psychologist who is highly motivated and thrives on the challenge of improving service delivery in a complex health system. You have strong research skills and written and verbal communication skills. You are a team player, and possess well developed negotiation and influencing abilities and strategic thinking that can be used in working with internal and external stakeholders.

Your track record includes:

  • Experience in undertaking clinical research and quality projects
  • The application of design thinking and innovation to improve clinical outcomes
  • Experience in the use of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis to inform and improve evidence based interventions
  • Experience in continuous improvement including measuring clinical effectiveness
  • Mentoring, coaching and supervision of staff and psychology students
  • Working effectively with clinical leads and highly skilled staff within teams
  • Liaising with effectively negotiating with people and services to improve patient outcomes
  • A commitment to access and service provision in public health

 What You Need

 Current full general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

  • · AHPRA endorsement in an area of practice in psychology
  •  · A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the field of Psychology at a minimum P2 (or equivalent) level
  •  · Evidence of participation in clinical research activities
  •  · Hold or be eligible for supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) for Registrar Supervision (primary and secondary) (desirable) 
  • · Research, evaluation, project and policy experience
