About the Team

Enterprise Technology is responsible for provision of IT services and technology for DoT delivering Corporate and enterprise-wide capabilities.

About the Opportunity

This is a key technical leadership role in Service Operations and provides end to end technical strategic direction and management across public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS (and other platforms as necessary).

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

• Advanced leadership and relationship building skills with a proven ability to motivate and establish strong working relationships with people at all levels
• Accomplished ability of explaining (verbal and written) technical concepts and design choices to nontechnical stakeholders  with the ability to tailor the communication style to the audience
• Extensive expertise & experience in leading the planning, design and implementation of technical design services within complex environments involving multiple stakeholders and/or entities.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective technical design governance and assurance processes and practices 
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of, and hands-on experience in platform technical leadership roles in support of major enterprise change programs (public cloud or other such as Oracle/SAP cloud etc)
• Significant experience applying frameworks and methodologies, including developing solid technical practices for teams and mentoring team members on behaviours and practices

Qualifications

Mandatory

• A relevant tertiary qualification security, technology, or other related fields
• Extensive experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from development to operations within an Agile/Continuous Delivery

Desirable

• Accredited practitioner in Cloud certifications
• Experience managing the delivery and operations of cloud services in one or more public clouds environments
• Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in Site Reliability Engineering concepts or similar frameworks for managing services and platforms
