Radiology Fellow in Advanced Oncologic Imaging (2 positions) 

The Radiology department is an RANZCR accredited training site. The centre provides a high level service in cancer diagnosis, staging, therapeutic monitoring and research. The department has state of the art imaging including a dual energy Siemens FORCE CT, 3T Siemens Skyra MRI, Siemens Zeego interventional suite, Philips EpiQ  ultrasound units, Hologic digital mammography with tomosynthesis, contrast mammography and full DR plain radiography. We have the Carestream PACS client and an EPIC EMR.

The Fellow will divide his/her time between cross sectional reporting in CT and MRI. There are also opportunities to perform basic interventional procedures. There will be opportunities to be involved in the many research projects within the hospital. Research interests are welcome, and participation in pre-existing or new research projects for presentation or publication is strongly encouraged. Time will be allocated weekly to support and conduct research.

The Fellow will participate in a 1 in 10 on-call roster, and will also lead and attend multi-disciplinary meetings. We have the following specialty tumour streams in Head & Neck, Breast, Upper GI, Colorectal, Gynaecology, Skin and Melanoma, Lung, Genitourinary, Brain and spine.

A medical degree and registration with AHPRA are pre-requisites for appointment and it is expected that you would have successfully completed core training in Radiology or equivalent to be eligible for the position.

Fellowship start date is from Feb 2022. This role is for a 12 month period.

Salary in line with the Doctors in Training (Victorian Public Health Sector) Enterprise Agreement commensurate with candidate experience ($119,542 - $164,538 full time salary per annum)
