About the role:
You will have the opportunity to work within South Gippsland District renowned for its remote coastal bushland and pristine beaches.
As a Ranger within South Gippsland District, you will deliver in park services as directed by the Ranger Team Leader to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan. You will be accountable for the delivery of on the ground works including, but not limited to track and outstation maintenance, road and carpark maintenance, visitor services, voluteer management and project works.
You will be offered training, learning and development opportunities to deliver a level of environmental and service expertise, as well as be supported by Parks Victoria to obtain any qualifications and tickets required to undertake specific tasks and roles. You will be required to work rostered weekends where you are remunerated through the payment of a Rostered Weekend Allowance (annual allowance of your substantive base salary).
