We are looking for a Records Manager to lead a team and provide expertise advice, promote and communicate good record management practices across the organisation.

Major Road Projects Victoria

Working at Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) means being part of something big.

We oversee more than 50 projects as a cornerstone of Victoria's Big Build, including some of the State's most important roads.

At our heart is a commitment to building better roads throughout Victoria.

It's about creating more capacity for our network, improving safety and ensuring drivers enjoy more reliable journeys.

But this is just the beginning.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

  • Being the Records Management guru at MRPV, providing expertise advice and promoting and communicating good record management practices
  • Working with stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain electronic document and records management, policies, processes, and procedures
  • Leading a team of 3 talented Records Management Specialists and developing a team culture that makes our business a great place to work and learn
  • Managing our Electronic Document and Records Management system as well as our hard copy filling, archiving, retention and disposal processes

To take up this challenge you will have extensive experience in developing, implementing and maintaining records management, systems and policies ideally within a government or large commercial environment.

Your impressive leadership and communication skills plus your proactive approach to promoting records management with stakeholders are all key capabilities to be successful.

A working knowledge of record management principles, and the Public Records Office Victoria standards and guidelines is essential.

We do work that matters:

  • Our projects will reduce congestion and travel times, improve safety, connect communities and improve the roads you rely on every day.
  • Check out our interactive map showing you the enormous scale of what our people do every day.
  • Have you also heard what we do in sustainability?  Our Ecologiq recycling program, to incremental improvements to processes, we always keep an eye on what we can do better

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include national police checks, COVID-19 vaccination status and misconduct screening.

MRPV believes in promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace and encourage people from all backgrounds, abilities, and identities to apply to our vacancies.

MRPV also welcomes flexible working arrangements and should you be interested in part time availabilities, we encourage you to apply and discuss your preferences with our Talent Team.

To be part of something meaningful and leave a positive legacy connecting Victorian communities, apply for a role with us today.
