About the role
The Claims and Recovery Support division has been created within WorkSafe to focus on supporting the recovery and the social and work participation of injured workers. This division will be transforming how we provide support and service to injured workers to improve the outcomes they achieve. As part of this, we will help shape the future Recovery Service Model for the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme.
Our division's focus is on providing a contemporary, person centred approach to partner with our workers to support them achieving their recovery and return to life goals.
The Claims and Recovery Support Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Claims and Recovery Support division that supports Victorians who have been injured at work in achieving their recovery and return to life goals.

About you
You have a successful track record in case management and have a genuine interest in your client's well-being and journey to achieve their goals. You are a people person and can deal with ambiguity and can change your communication style to suit an individual. You take a holistic view of your workers situations, addressing biopsychosocial factors and adopting a person centred approach to support improved outcomes. Additionally, you are motivated to transform the way services are delivered to injured Victorian workers.
