Parks Victoria is looking for a Regional Conservation Project Coordinator to implement, coordinate and grow significant conservation programs for the West Coast District.
About the role
This position will play a key role in protecting the natural assets found within the Region. The role will focus on the successful delivery of conservation projects in the West Coast of Victoria, with a particular focus on Great Otway National Park and Ramsar sites in the Western District Lakes. You will be responsible for managing expenditure and resources allocated to projects, developing contracts and advising project staff. You will be implementing project plans, supervising contractors, monitoring environmental project progression, liaising will local and regional staff, reporting outputs and delivering these projects on time and within budget. This supportive team work collaboratively and implement biodiversity (pest plant and animal) projects to high standards with a focus on working together.
