An exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator to lead the delivery of the Deer Control Program in Parks Victoria's Eastern Region.
About the role:
As the Regional Program Coordinator, you will supervise a small team of staff to lead the delivery of over $3.5M of contract ground and aerial shooting to control deer in landscapes ranging from the alps to temperate rainforest on the coast. You will work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and professional contract shooters to plan and deliver control works in areas of high conservation value which are susceptible to deer impacts. You will contribute to the development of the Regional Deer Control Plan for Eastern Victoria in partnership with specialists in Parks Victoria and other organisations, stakeholders and community. The role can be based from a variety of Parks Victoria office locations in Eastern Victoria by negotiation.
