Parks Victoria is currently looking for a Regional Project Officer who can contribute to the protection and preservation of Victoria's valuable alpine ecosystems!
Position Details
About the role
As Regional Project Officer, the main purpose of your role is to support to the Regional Program Coordinator in the planning and implementation of components of the feral animal management program in the Victorian alpine landscape. This is a great opportunity to protect Victoria's precious alpine ecosystems.
You will have experience and understanding of project management and be able to prioritise and track the implementation of works. You will be required to carry out field work (including remote locations), attend working group meetings, report on progress, undertake budget tracking and prepare Service Agreements (contracts). Regional Project Officers are, subject to funding and other considerations, generally appointed for the life of a project.

About the Branch
Staff working within the Region are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, stakeholder management, park planning and emergency response.
