About the role

As Regional Project Officer, the main purpose of your role is to support to the Regional Program Coordinator in the planning and implementation of components of the feral animal management program in the Victorian alpine landscape. This is a great opportunity to protect Victoria's precious alpine ecosystems.

You will have experience and understanding of project management and be able to prioritise and track the implementation of works. You will be required to carry out field work (including remote locations), attend working group meetings, report on progress, undertake budget tracking and prepare Service Agreements (contracts). Regional Project Officers are, subject to funding and other considerations, generally appointed for the life of a project.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Capability to deliver environmental projects and works, especially in relation to threat management.
  • Experience managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and to form strong working relationships.
