About The Team
The team is part of Bendigo Health’s Acute Ambulatory and Critical Care Department. The Emergency Department (ED) sees around 50,000 patients each year, making it one of the busiest emergency departments in regional Victoria. The ED is open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals including emergency medicine specialist doctors, critical care trained nurses, nurse practitioners specialising in emergency care and physiotherapists with expertise in urgent conditions, supported by technical and clerical staff.
About The Position
As part of the Safe Patient Care Act the nurse to patient ratios for Resus Beds in Emergency Departments are changing from 2:4 to 1:1. These new improved ratios mean that Bendigo Health has the opportunity to employ additional CCRN/RN staff to our Emergency Department. We have permanent and fixed term positions dependant on experience and qualifications.
