About the role 


We are a 31 bed general medical/acute stroke ward with capacity to house six patients on telemetry for cardiac rhythm monitoring. We maintain a strong sense of customer focus, accountability and a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. Our emphasis is on multi-disciplinary care and efficient discharge planning.


You are an enthusiastic, motivated registered nurse keen to share your knowledge and experience, and develop your career further whilst being part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team. You will be a valued member of a highly dedicated, multi-disciplinary team incorporating doctors, social workers, allied health and divisional therapists.  We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to provide our residents with timely access to high quality care.


About you


To be successful in this role you should possess:



  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA

  • Recent Australian nursing experience on an acute medical and/or stroke ward

  • Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to work well within a team model of care

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • A strong commitment to high quality care
