About our Hospital and Ward 31 south


Jessie McPherson Private is a 115-bed Private Hospital co- located with Monash Medical Centre Clayton. Patients have access to full range of treatment options including High Dependency Care and Intensive Care. This unique position facilitates a high acuity case mix.


An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate and innovative nurses who have high career aspirations. Ward 31 South is an acute 26-bed Neurosurgical unit with a High Dependency Unit. We provide care for a diverse range of neurology conditions and post neurosurgical interventions and major neurosurgical surgery.


About the Role


We currently have a number of prospects for suitably skilled Registered Nurses to join our team in providing excellent care to our acute and complex patients.  Working across a rotating roster (24 hours / 7 days), we have both full time and part time positions available on an ongoing basis. 


Bringing your passion and genuine interest for Neurosurgical nursing along with demonstrated experience in high standards of patient care will ensure your success within our team. You will have access to resources to support your work including a dedicated Unit Clinical Nurse Educator. There are also opportunities to further your knowledge by undertaking Post Graduate Studies in Medical/ Surgical nursing.


About You


We are looking for highly motivated Registered Nurses who are looking to join a vibrant team with a focus on providing a high standard of care, innovation and expertise.


You have significant acute nursing experience post your Graduate year.  You are also:



  • Able to work autonomously and provide direction through critical thinking and decision making

  • An excellent communicator

  3. Experience in an acute  Neurosurgical/Neurosciences nursing is highly desirable

  6. Current AHPRA registration
