The Integrated Care Hub team are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. We have 2 full time positions available.
The Integrated Care Hub is a dynamic new clinical space which hosts a multidisciplinary team including Nephrology and Endocrinology Rapid Access Clinics, Kidney Care and Transplantation clinics, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Chronic Wound Service and RACER.
RACER predominantly reviews Heart Failure patients post-acute ward discharge in order promote best care and prevent Emergency Department presentations.

Registered Nurse – Radiology
The Medical Imaging Department aims to provide excellence in diagnostic and interventional imaging services including education, training and development to the staff and patients of Western Health. The Medical Imaging Department operates Monday–Friday 0830-1700 hours and provides emergency imaging services 24/7. The Department consists of many disciplines including the dedicated nursing and ancillary staff comprising the radiographers, clerical staff, clinical assistants, Radiology Registrars and Radiologists.
This is a permanent part time position of 56 hours per fortnight. Successful applicant will be contracted for a year in Medical Imaging to cover maternity leave, then ongoing permanent part time position employment within Western Health will be offered. The successful applicant should have a keen interest in Radiology nursing or desire to learn. Prior experience in Medical Imaging, Day Procedure Unit or Theatre/Recovery is highly desirable. On the job training will be provided. The Successful candidate will work in an Imaging/Radiation environment and Full PPE and radiation safety training will be provided.

Cath Lab – Critical Care Nurse
Western Cardiac Cath labs are some of the busiest in Melbourne offering acute and elective coronary intervention and electrophysiology services. We also provide a 24 hour on call service for acute myocardial infarct patients.
We have a passion for research and strive for use of current therapies to provide best care and pioneered a 24/7 cardiogenic shock programme in 2019 making us the first in Victoria to use the Impella cardiac pump device for this purpose.
