Role Description
Outstanding opportunities are now available to join the Interventional Services Team at Bendigo Health. We have positions available for scout/scrub nurses in our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. If you have a keen interest in cardiac nursing this is the opportunity for you. Whilst cardiac catheter experience is desirable this is not mandatory for suitably experienced nurses, who may have a passion for cardiac nursing and would enjoy the complex environment of the Cathlab.
You will work in a supportive environment which values and fosters professional development and collegial relations, training will be provided with supervision and support.
The interventional suite at Bendigo Health is a brand new, state of the art facility with two interventional suites, which runs one interventional suite Monday to Friday, and two interventional suites once a week, soon to be twice a week. Our case mix is varied inclusive of Diagnostic angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker implants, electro physiology studies, vascular intervention and STEMI on call service, 5 days a week currently, with a view to 24/7 STEMI service in the new year.

The Team
