About our Non Residential Withdrawal Services at Monash Health
Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.
The Non Residential Withdrawal Service is a community based service, with offices in Thomas Street Dandenong. The service operates within the Monash Health and SECADA framework. We work closely with supporting consumers while liaising with General Practitioners as well as having links with specialist consultants from within and outside Monash Health. Referrals may come from a variety of sources including General Practitioners, Secada, and Community Residential Withdrawal Unit or from the acute hospital settings.
About the Role
We are seeking an RN with specialist knowledge and skills required to respond to a diverse range of clients in the community requiring pharmaceutical and/or psycho-social supportive care for non-residential AOD withdrawal or stabilisation. The role involves the Registered Nurse supporting the consumer while:
This is a full-time ongoing position, Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
About You
You are a passionate Nurse with an interest in the field of Drug and Alcohol and providing community services to our clients. You have specialist knowledge and clinical skills that are requires in the provision of a cohesive pathway for clients through the service system, back to the care of the GP. You are an asset to the team, working amongst highly skilled Nurses and extended multidisciplinary team
