The Opportunity
Applications are invited from suitably experienced Registered Nurses to join the dynamic Community Nursing Team at Albury Community Health on a casual basis. the role of the community Registered Nurse is that of coordination and delivering nursing care to clients within a community based setting. It is expected that clinical care delivered by the community nursie will include complex care that requires spcialist knowledge, skills and competence in the areas of wound care including complex wound dressings, IV antibiotic adminstration and catheter care.
The community Registered Nurse position provides community based post acute and primary health care services to individuals and groups within the albury and local community. This position aima to maintain, protect and promote the well-being of the people living within this area. this position also involves assessment, planning, appropriate referral and accurate record keeping as well as provision of direct clinical care to people with acute, chronic and complex care needs.
This position is ideally suited to someone who has a strong interest in community/Primary Health Care, client centred care, chronic and complex care needs. Candidates meeting the attached criteria are encouraged to apply.
