About Stepping Stones at Monash Children's Hospital

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.

Stepping Stones, located within the Monash Children's Hospital, Clayton is a 15 bed inpatient unit with a 5 place Transition Program that works with young people aged 12-18 years who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems. About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with mental health experience and possesses a patient-centred approach with an excellent bedside manner. A strong flexible approach to time management whilst assisting the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate discharge planning and facilitation of the daily group program is required.  You will play a key role within the Ward and be recognised as a valuable member of the nursing team.

We currently have a ongoing, part time and full time opportunities to join the team

This role is required working on a 24/7 rotating roster.

What You Need:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health

  • Proven clinical experience with current mental health experience

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Relevant working visa
