Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital delivering care to the growing community of the West. We are recruiting, to increase our workforce profile, to meet the growing need of our community. Successful applicants will be provided with the opportunity to join our team in the delivery of high quality patient-centred care. Our Emergency Department provides care to over 50,000 patients annually of which 25% are paediatric patients. We have an exciting growth strategy which will lay the foundation for our future growth including $100 million 2 story Emergency Department due for completion in 2027. This growth requires Werribee Mercy to invest heavily in the capability and professional development of the staff who work within the Emergency Department and across the site.

Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, paediatric, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has undergone significant expansion with the opening of an intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.
