An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Nurse to join Ward 10 an acute aged care ward located at the HRH campus

Details of position/position requirements

Acute Medical Experience

Demonstrated high clinical standards in patient assessment and implementation of care strategies

Active participation in upholding the National Standards

Confident to identify & initiate appropriate care in the deteriorating patient

Understand the complexities of the aged patient suffering an acute illness

Ability to respond appropriately in workload demands due to changes in patient acuity

Interested in being part of a Medical Emergency Review Team

Confident in the management of patients with behaviour associated with an acute Delirium and/or Dementia

Familiar with and initiate strategies around falls prevention and management
