An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy department. The Endoscopy department is located in the Surgical and Endoscopy Centre (SAEC) and its part of the overall Austin Health Operating Suite complex. Endoscopy Unit at Austin operates more than 7,500 procedure yearly including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, enteroscopy, Bronchoscopy,Endoscopic Ultrasound, pill cam and oeosphageal and anorectal manometry.
As a Registered Endoscopy nurse you will be required to, however not limited to the following: screening and admitting patients, working within the procedure rooms by providing support to medical staff when performing procedures, attendng to patient care needs, reprocessing, handling and storing endoscopes and contribuing to the departments ongong committment to excellence in patient care.
